Working principle of carburetor

● Intake process: When the engine is running, the piston moves downward, negative pressure is formed in the cylinder, and air enters through the carburetor intake port, and the flow rate increases when passing through the throat.

● Fuel supply: The high-speed airflow at the throat reduces the static pressure, forming a pressure difference with the float chamber, that is, "vacuum degree". Under the action of vacuum degree, gasoline is sucked out from the float chamber through the metering hole and the nozzle.

● Atomization mixing: The sucked gasoline is dispersed by the high-speed air flow at the throat, forming mist particles, which are initially mixed with the air to form a mixed gas.

● Mixed gas adjustment: According to different working conditions of the engine, such as idling, medium load, full load, acceleration, etc., the concentration and supply of the mixed gas are adjusted through the change of throttle opening and the coordinated action of the metering hole, idle device, enrichment device, etc.
